Community Outreach

Printed programs distributed to audiences will include essays written by the artistic director for a “behind the scenes” conception about the work in order to make this challenging work more accessible to the audience. 

In addition to the performance at LaMaMa in September 2020, post-performance Q & A sessions and/or roundtables with the performers and audience will be held at the venue.
Chuma’s work often explores politically complex themes which are unfamiliar with the American and Japanese audiences and contributes to raise their awareness and understanding. 
Also, artist talks and discussions are planned at the Movement Research, Poetry Project, Vision Festival and Lamama Trinity College in New York City in 2020-2022.
